What you get

Your app on the current versions of Laravel, Filament and PHP, doing everything it did before. On current versions your app gets security fixes again and can use the newest Filament plugins.

Several of our own plugins support both Filament 4 and 5, so we work through each release's breaking changes ourselves.

How it runs

Quote: a 30-minute call, then we read the code and confirm a fixed price and timeline.

The upgrade: we work in a branch, version by version, using Rector for the mechanical changes and doing the rest by hand. Your test suite runs at every step. If there isn't one, we write a smoke test for the main flows first.

Handoff: the upgrade on staging for you to check, notes on everything that changed, and a production deploy when you're ready.

When to upgrade

If your panel is on Filament 3 or 4, upgrading gets you the current version and the plugins built for it. If Laravel or PHP is behind, it gets you security support again. And if you're planning a bigger project on an older app, like a SaaS MVP or an AI assistant, the upgrade gives it a current base to build on.

An upgrade keeps the app doing what it does today. New features and design work can follow once it's on current versions.

How we work together

  • Payment: 50% when you accept the quote, 50% after the production deploy.
  • Prices exclude VAT and are invoiced in EUR by XLITE TOWER SRL.
  • Days in the timeline are working days, Monday to Friday.
  • Day one starts once we have what we asked for before it, such as the brief and access to your accounts. Days spent waiting on answers move the delivery date by the same number of days.
  • Changes to the agreed scope are welcome. We quote them separately, at a fixed price.
